Sales Development Representative

The Sales Development Department is a new and exciting team that is an integral part of the Sales and Marketing organization and the company as a whole. This position is fully sponsored and well respected by the Fogbreak executive staff.

This exciting team is responsible for delivering Fogbreak's message to target Fortune 1000 enterprises in order to generate QUALIFIED LEADS for Fogbreak Field Sales Representatives to follow-up on. The SDR position requires great acumen in understanding each prospect’s unique business drivers and consequently, adapting the Fogbreak ROI and value proposition to each situation.

Position Objectives:

  • Achieve monthly quota of Qualified Leads
  • Maintain outbound call activity of 40-60 calls per day
  • Independent target account research
  • Maintain accurate and complete data as well as create reports in Salesforce.com
  • Create cohesive team strategy with field sales representatives in the assigned territory
  • Understand Fogbreak product strengths, functionality, positioning, and competition – and adapt that understanding to our customers’ specific pain points

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of achieving aggressive established targets or quotas
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Sales Development, Telesales, or Telebusiness experience cold calling and prospecting directly to enterprise customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain, financial, or manufacturing technology or processes a plus
  • Completion of formal sales training programs helpful
